At the game Friday night I was curious why the organist played the theme from “Dallas” every time Barry Zito came to bat. I quickly typed the following tweet on my cell phone:

@bravesorganist why do you keep playing Dallas theme for zito?

A few minutes later I received the following reply:

@thebravesblog his uncle is Patrick Duffy

Michelle Hiskey just wrote an interesting piece on the Braves’ organist Matthew Kaminsky that can be found here. It’s a quick article but definitely an interesting read.

And, for those that don’t know who Patrick Duffy is, he played Bobby Ewing on the TV show “Dallas”.
